LO4: Sample of audio as part of the pitch
For the audio sample, we have permission to use the sounds as the instrumental and song was created using a free sound kit available to download from YouTube. The voices were recorded by us and we had full permission to record/use them from the subjects.
LO3: Consideration of gap in the market/advertisers
Hot 28:
The product is different to what is on the radio at the moment because music played on the show is a mixture of both famous and local artists, the show plays strictly Hip Hop/Rap music.
The show will advertise places such as Sheffield College and Medowhall as these are places the target audience will be interested in. The show will be played from 10PM till 12PM on Friday night, this is hammocked between Aaj Ki Shaam and Dubcentral Live, this slot is chosen because people are getting ready to go out , or will be out whilst the show is aired.
Half Time:
The product is different to the existing radio shows as it focuses on local sports teams based around many different sports ,such as Rugby, Football, Cricket and Ice Hockey and is interested in hearing the opinions of the public. The show will advertise local businesses such as EIS Sheffield, that have some contribution towards the growth of sports in South Yorkshire.
The show will be aired on weekends ideally from 1pm to 2pm as this is the time most sports events are taking place or have happened, so it gives a time to reflect and evaluate what has happened.

LO3: Two Treatments (updated)
Treatment 1 Half Time (Completed by Ahmed):
Treatment 2 Hot 28 (Completed by Junaid):
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BOTH IDEAS:
Hot 28: The show will have new guests in each week, these guests will present new topics that will be spoken about and will recommend music they enjoy. On the show there will be new advertisers each week, for example there could be Barnsley college and Plug. We would generate income through advertising, this would fund the show and be put back into Sheffield Live!. Commercial radio stations charge £1500 for a 30second advert (including production of advert), however we would charge a lot less and think if we made £60 a month for 8 shows we could make the money back spent on the equipment/software, however we expect that we would rely on donations mostly.
Half Time: Each week a different sport will be focused on, one week could be football and the next week could be Rugby. With the new sports there would be a guest who represents this sport from our region. Advertisers on the would be places in Sheffield that contribute towards the growth of sports in Sheffield, such as EIS Sheffield and Sheffield Trophy Centre. We would generate income through advertising, this would fund the show and be put back into Sheffield Live!.
